Watch 'Kop Kids' on LFC YouTube
To mark the very first airing of our new children's TV show 'Kop Kids', Liverpool FC have today launched a dedicated YouTube channel aimed at our younger fans.
The 'Official LFC Kids Channel' on YouTube already contains 10 videos specifically created for a younger audience and over the coming months, we'll be publishing lots more fun content to keep little Reds everywhere entertained.
The channel is free to subscribe to and the perfect place for youngsters to enjoy exclusive content about their favourite football club.
"We're always looking for new ways to engage with our younger fans and after seeing how popular our original 'Small Talk with Steven Gerrard' show proved with fans of all ages, we decided to turn it into a series and develop even more compelling videos for kids to enjoy," claimed Paul Rogers, LFC's Head of Content. "Since that first show with local school children posing the questions for the club captain, further shows have been made featuring Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing, Jamie Carragher, Jay Spearing, Charlie Adam and basketball star LeBron James.
"With these videos proving such a success, we decided to make a pilot for a dedicated TV show - 'Kop Kids'. From an audition at Anfield featuring nearly 50 children, two young presenters were selected to host the show, which was produced by LFC TV's Claire Rourke and Mark Volante, with many other children also earning starring parts in the pilot. With more and more content now being created for kids, it made sense to launch the Official LFC Kids Channel on YouTube to host all the videos in one place. We hope our young fans enjoy the videos we upload and keep coming back for more as we look to refresh the channel every week."
