Carra on Kenny departure
Jamie Carragher today spoke of his sadness at seeing Kenny Dalglish's departure from Liverpool, but insisted everyone must now look forward to a bright future at Anfield.
Carragher admits he was sorry to see the legendary Scotsman leave the position of Reds manager on Wednesday afternoon.
However, the defender stressed he will be 100 per cent committed to Dalglish's successor as the club prepares to start a new chapter in its illustrious history.
Carragher said: "I spoke to him just before he was getting on his flight and asked: 'Is it Kenny now or gaffer?' He said: 'It is Kenny now.'
"I am sorry to see him go, but that is football.
"It is a sad day for him, but we respect the owners' decision and we have to look forward now.
"I will be fully committed to whoever the manager is."
