Liverpool FC continued to build its commercial partnership portfolio during last season and some of the more recent partners are getting a taste of the sponsorship rights.

Not only do partners increase their brand awareness using dual advertisements and activating campaigns, some also gain access to the Reds' star players.

Following the announcement of a three-year regional partnership in Thailand with LFC earlier this year, leading car battery manufacturer 3K Battery brought 20 under-privileged children from southern Thailand for a special visit to Anfield.

The children enjoyed a tour of the stadium and some of them got to visit Melwood where they were greeted by striker Luis Suarez.

Veerawat Kohpaiboon, senior vice president of 3K Products Co Ltd, said: "We would like to give a special thanks to Luis Suarez, who congratulated us on our 3K official partnership.

"We have come up with a 360-degree marketing campaign to differentiate ourselves from our competitors. The plan is to penetrate the Liverpool FC fan base in Thailand, which represents approximately 14 million fans.

"We believe that the partnership between 3K Battery and Liverpool FC will be successful business-wise and an impressive experience that we can offer to the Liverpool FC fans in Thailand."

Established in 1986, 3K Battery is a leading manufacturer and the largest exporter of '3K' to more than 70 countries. The company is listed on the Thailand Stock Exchange.

Ian Ayre, managing director of Liverpool FC, said: "We are continuing to team up with successful companies around the world, which once again shows the value of the club's brand globally.

"3K Battery is a forward-thinking company and, as with all our partnerships, we have taken time to form a relationship with 3K Battery so we can support mutual goals more effectively and provide significant brand visibility."
