Most Exciting PL Games: 43
A 6-0 mauling of the Baggies is next up at No.43 in Liverpool's Most Exciting PL Games.
LFC's Most Exciting PL Games No.43: April 26, 2003. West Bromwich Albion 0-6 Liverpool.
Michael Owen hit four goals to take his Premier League tally past the 100 mark as Liverpool turned on the style to sink West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
It was another must-win game for Gerard Houllier's side as they were fighting hard for a top-four finish, and they played some fantastic football on the day.
The Baggies defence just couldn't cope with the pace of Owen and strike partner Milan Baros and the pair ran them ragged.
Owen fired home the opener after 15 minutes and the other five goals were scored in the second half, with Owen adding a further three and Baros claiming a double.
Each weeknight during the summer we'll reveal four more from our countdown from 6pm BST on LFC TV. 11-minute highlights will then be available on LFC TV Online the following morning. LFC TV is available FREE to view on SKY channel 434 and Virgin channel 544 (as part of the XL pack).
