With the eyes of Europe now set on the European Championships which kick off later today, LFC TV's Matt Critchley is in Poland to bring us daily updates as sixteen nations compete for the crown of the best on the continent.

It's been a busy summer for LFC so far with a change of manager, but now with Brendan Rodgers installed as our new boss attention turns to the European Championships, with no fewer than eight first team players taking part in the tournament.

I'll be in Warsaw for the group stages of Euro 2012, and every day I'll be updating this blog letting you know what I've been up to and how Poland is coping with co-hosting one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Former Red Jason McAteer is with me as well and I'll be getting his thoughts on the tournament throughout the next month, as well as his take on all the latest Reds issues - as ever Jason isn't short of an opinion or two!

I'll be attending as many games as I can (Poland v Greece today and Spain v Italy on Sunday) and doing my best to bring you a flavour of what's really happening over here in Warsaw, and I'm sure I'll run into an LFC fan or two along the way!

You can see that I've already got up close and personal with the trophy (!) and I'll be in Kiev as well on July 1st to see it lifted aloft, but by whom?

Can Pepe enjoy yet more success with Spain? Can Danny Agger spring another surprise with Denmark? Or might the six Liverpool lads with England lift Roy Hodgson's men to their first ever Euro crown?

I think it's going to be a fascinating month as we find out. If you're in Poland and want to feature on this page, or you have any comments on this blog, I'd love to hear from you - tweet me @mattcritchley1.

Widzenia na Razie! (that's 'bye for now' in Polish - well according to my translator app anyway!)
