Daniel Agger's dream of European Championships glory is over following a 2-1 defeat to Group B winners Germany.

Michael Krohn-Dehli scored for the Danes to level Lukas Podolski's opener but a late winner from Lars Bender saw the Germans make it three victories from three.

Instead it is Portugal who progress as Group B runners-up after they beat Holland 2-1 thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo double.

Portugal will meet Czech Republic in the last eight, while Germany will face Group A runners-up Greece.
