Fernando Torres struck twice for Roy Hodgson's men as Chelsea were beaten at Anfield.

The Spaniard was in fine form and took both his goals brilliantly to rejuvenate the struggling Reds on a night when Lucas Leiva rivalled him for Man of the Match with a battling performance in the middle of the park.

Torres took his first brilliantly. Dirk Kuyt picked him out with a perfectly-weighted pass, the forward killed the ball with one touch, leaving John Terry in his wake before slotting past the Petr Cech to open the scoring.

Then, moments before half-time, the Spaniard picked up the ball in a seemingly innocuous position out on the left, took one touch to shift the ball onto his right foot before curling it into the far corner of Cech's net for 2-0.

Each weeknight during the summer we'll reveal four more from our countdown from 6pm BST on LFC TV. 11-minute highlights will then be available on LFC TV Online the following morning. LFC TV is available FREE to view on SKY channel 434 and Virgin channel 544 (as part of the XL pack).
