Most Exciting PL Games: 13
Another win for Kenny Dalglish at Stamford Bridge comes in at No.13 in LFC's 100 Most Exciting PL Games.
LFC's Most Exciting PL Games No.13: November 20, 2011. Chelsea 1-2 Liverpool.
Liverpool continued their winning ways at Stamford Bridge as Glen Johnson grabbed a late winner to seal three points for Kenny Dalglish's side.
Charlie Adam's closing down created the opportunity for Liverpool to take the lead after he stole possession deep in Chelsea territory and slid a pass into the feet of Craig Bellamy. The Welshman exchanged passes with Luis Suarez before picking out Maxi, who tapped the ball past Petr Cech for 1-0.
Ashley Cole's effort on goal was turned home by an alert Daniel Sturridge and the Reds found themselves level.
But on 87 minutes, Adam sprayed a raking 30-yard pass out to Johnson, who controlled before embarking on a winding run into the heart of the Chelsea penalty area.
The full-back showed remarkable composure as he delayed his effort, spotted a gap on the Chelsea goalline and calmly side-footed past John Terry to clinch another win at Stamford Bridge.
