For every home match throughout the 2011-12 season, LFC's official matchday programme gave fans the chance to get to know their heroes that little bit better.

Ahead of each Anfield clash, the 'Just Can't Get Enough' feature conducted a quirky interview with a member of the first-team squad in which the questions ranged from football-related issues to dressing room banter and life off the pitch.

Over the last few days, Liverpoolfc.com has been publishing a selection of these interviews and we continue the series today with Jose Enrique, who tells us which of his teammates' accent is hardest to understand and chooses his favourite left-backs in world football.

Do you have a regular pre-match routine?

Normally I have a massage before the game. I rarely - if ever - have massages during the week but I always like to have one before a match. Then I pray to God to thank him for giving me this opportunity.

How about any pre-match superstitions?

I don't have any, no.

How about travelling to away games? Do you play cards, read or listen to music?

Sometimes I bring my PSP but more often I bring my iPad and watch a film or listen to some CDs. Just something to help me switch off and relax.

Who was your first room-mate?

I can't remember exactly who it was but it may have been Marquitos who played with me at Villarreal and who is now with Real Valladolid in the Spanish second division.

Which of your Liverpool teammates do you find hardest to understand?

For me it's Charlie Adam - he is really difficult to understand!

What was the last concert or show you went to?

I went to see Ne-Yo in Newcastle with some of my old teammates a couple of years ago. I enjoyed it but I have not been to many concerts. But if I know that a singer I like is coming to Liverpool or near to here, I would be interested to go.

Can you cook?

I'm okay but I cook very simply. I eat without sauce and garnishes so it is very easy to cook for me! When my girlfriend is in Spain and I cook myself, I make simple dishes like pasta and chicken. If it was something different or more elaborate than that...no, I wouldn't do it.

What was the last book you read?

I think it was a text book in school maybe 10 or 12 years ago! I don't really like to read books. My girlfriend loves to but I don't! I love to read newspapers with my breakfast every day to catch up on the news and I also love games so I like the puzzle pages.

Did you enjoy school?

Of course. I think you sometimes miss this because when you are at school you don't have to think too much about other things and you don't have too many problems, you just have to study and meet with your friends and of course everyone misses that sometimes. I had school in my city and I made a lot of good friends there. My best friends now are from that school.

Did you pass your driving test first time?

No. I was quite nervous and went through a red light at the traffic lights so of course the instructor couldn't pass me. I did pass the second time though.

What was your first car?

It was a green Renault Twingo. It was alright but it was a little bit old because my dad couldn't afford to spend a lot on a car for me. But of course when you have your first car you think it is like a Ferrari!

Best away ground dressing room?

I would have to say Newcastle.

Best goal you've scored?

I only have a choice of one! My only senior goal is one I scored for Newcastle against Nottingham Forest in the Championship in 2010. It was a good one!

Best left-back you have ever seen?

There are a lot of good left-backs now. For me, Ashley Cole is the best left-back in England and I like him a lot. But I also like Marcelo at Real Madrid and Adriano from Barcelona.
