Reds celebrate Respect 4 All
Liverpool celebrated another successful 12 months for the Respect 4 All centre with a night to remember at Anfield recently.
Children, parents and adults who attend the centre on a weekly basis were invited to the stadium's Champions Suite for an end-of-season party, where they each received a medal and a certificate.
The Respect 4 All centre provides opportunities to play football to those who are visually impaired, physically disabled, have severe learning difficulties or are wheelchair users - and the celebration was organised to mark the work of the past 12 months.
The party goers were treated to a magician and a raffle during the evening, and prizes such as an Anfield Experience day with a Liverpool Legend, a jersey and ball signed by the first team and a year-long subscription to LFC TV Online were all won.
LFC community coach, Mark Bygroves said: "It's fantastic to see the kids with smiles on faces - it's great to really engage with these families.
"Respect 4 All is crucial because the disability centre is the foundation level of our disability football programme. It creates opportunities for children who previously haven't been involved in sport.
"It's been a busy year; we've had Linda Pizzuti down to the centre, we've had LeBron James come down and we've had appearances on the pitch.
"We've had loads of different activities but what's really important is to see how happy the children are coming to the centre and the fact that they and their families can really socialise and be together each week.
"Respect 4 All means friendships, it means socialising with other people, it means physical activity and it means fun."
