Rodgers excited by Suarez return
Brendan Rodgers admits he cannot wait to start working with Luis Suarez as the striker prepares to head back to Melwood next week.
The No.7 will return to Liverpool following his involvement with Uruguay at the Olympics - and his new manager believes he can hit the ground running.
Rodgers said: "It will be fantastic to have Luis coming back, and he is already fighting fit.
"He will have a couple of days off and join up with us after this weekend.
"He's been playing games, so he will already be up to a decent level of fitness, maybe even higher really, because he's had more competitive games.
"I'm really looking forward to working with him."
