'Why I'd sign Wiggins' (YOUTUBE)
His medal-winning performances this summer captured the hearts of the nation – and now Brendan Rodgers has explained to Liverpoolfc.com why he'd sign Olympic hero Bradley Wiggins.
The 32-year-old cyclist, who is a lifelong Kopite, became the first British champion of the Tour de France in July, before going on to win a seventh Olympic Games medal after scooping gold in the men's time trial.
During an interview with Liverpoolfc.com at Melwood on Wednesday, Reds boss Rodgers answered a number of questions submitted by fans via Twitter.
One such query came from Robert Mason, who asked which London 2012 Olympian the manager would most like to sign and why.
