Steve Cooper's side found themselves trailing 2-0 despite starting the game brightly. However, Jordan Lussey took matters into his own hands just before half-time to halve the deficit by scoring in sensational style.
Wolves added a third after the re-start but Cooper's side were not about to give up without a fight and substitute Kris Peterson nodded home a corner to make it 3-2.
With minutes left on the clock, Lussey slipped a through pass into the path of Sam Gainford, who controlled before slotting the equaliser.
The young Reds might have clinched a win in the dying seconds of the season's opener but Sinclair was denied as he shaped to convert a late penalty.
