The view from the Emirates
Arsenal fan Daniel Masters gives us the view from the Emirates ahead of Sunday's clash at Anfield.
Looking forward to a trip to Anfield?
Not massively. It's never somewhere I feel we play particularly well, even if we have won two of the last three at your place - last season's smash-and-grab a perfect example. With goals hard to come by for us, Szczesny not certain to return and you guys no doubt buoyed by a decent point against City, I'm expecting a tough afternoon.
We're likely to hear...
Groans of frustration at wayward shooting up front but gasps of delight at Santi Cazorla's vision and execution.
Best way to beat Arsenal?
Frustrate us, bully us, then attack the channels to exploit gaps between our full-backs and centre-backs. Definitely something that will suit Suarez.
Who makes Arsenal tick?
While Cazorla has looked great so far I still feel it's our decidedly more Liverpudlian Spaniard in Mikel Arteta who allows us to dictate games. He's our metronome and his maturity is vital to us, even after only a season in red.
If you were Arsenal manager for the day, you would...
Buy the solid, mobile defensive midfielder we've always needed. Song never gave our defence the shielding it needs to allow our midfield to really relax and commit offensively.
Liverpool players you rate?
I've been a huge fan of Pepe Reina for a long time, and would have certainly liked to get Jose Enrique when you bought him last season. Lucas is the type of player I feel we should be looking for now and feel Nuri Sahin would have been a good addition to our side considering how injury prone our midfield is.
Happy with your summer signings?
The fact all our semi-big names and Podolski and Giroud were brought in early are definite plus-points, but I'm realistic about how long it can take for players to find their feet. It took Alex Hleb about two years before he remembered how to play, so I don't expect miracles yet, even though they would be useful...
Best thing about being an Arsenal fan?
While there always seems to be doom and gloom hanging over us in one form or another recently, the fact is we are a massive club, creating the platform to get bigger and bigger, while not jeopardising our future and are doing it without relying on one bank account.
And the worst?
The fact that we find new and creative ways to be frustrating on an almost weekly basis.
Prediction?
I'd go for a score draw, as our drought surely can't go three games, so 1-1 I think, but I could see you nicking it 2-1 if I'm honest.
