Martin Skrtel was the game's most accurate passer, with an impressive 98.1 per cent of his 53 attempts finding their man.
Among the midfield starters, Mikel Arteta had the highest percentage with 94.6. However, just 3.3 per cent of these were long passes.
In contrast, Joe Allen had an accuracy of 93.2 per cent and 21.6 per cent of his passes were long.
Debutant Nuri Sahin had an accuracy of 93.3 per cent, with 4.4 long.
Arteta had the most touches - 92. Glen Johnson was second with 91.
Thomas Vermaelen was the duel king, winning 100 per cent of his aerial duels and 70 per cent of those he went into on the ground.
The Belgian also made the most clearances, eight, and won all of his three tackles.
Luis Suarez conceded most fouls with three, with Arteta and Abou Diaby each won three.
Suarez and Santiago Cazorla had more shots than anyone else - four. The Liverpool man managed one on target, while his Spanish counterpart was accurate twice.
Fabio Borini, Stewart Downing and Jonjo Shelvey each managed three shots.
