Ladies sign new stopper
Liverpool Ladies are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Sarah Quantrill.
Quantrill follows new manager Matt Beard from Chelsea where she distinguished herself with some excellent performances, most notably in the Blues' semi-final cup win over Arsenal earlier this year.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper started her career at Norwich City and then signed for Arsenal before joining Chelsea in January 2011.
Her career highlights to date include winning the 2009 FA Cup, a 2010 County Cup winners' medal, the Reserve League in 2010 and the 2009 Reserve League Cup with Arsenal.
Quantrill will be joining the team against Birmingham Ladies.
