'Being: Liverpool' set for premiere
A documentary offering fans a truly unique insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes at Liverpool Football Club will premiere on Channel 5 later this month.
Filming on Being: Liverpool - which will be narrated by Golden Globe-winning actor and Reds fan Clive Owen - began in May.
The FOX cameras rolled throughout the summer as new manager Brendan Rodgers was appointed and took his squad to North America. The six-part show follows the start to our Barclays Premier League campaign right up until the transfer window closing.
Liverpool are the first major football power in the world to open their doors in this way having teamed up with FOX Sports Media Group.
Produced by Emmy Award-winning Scott Boggins, the show will debut in the US on September 16 and will be available to a worldwide audience of more than 300 million homes.
Viewers will see the players and management as they've never seen them before as the cameras take you into Melwood, the team hotel in North America, the dressing room and the manager's office.
Liverpool are the first participants in Fox's 'Being' franchise, which promises to give fans: "A deep, thoughtful look at the superstars and teams of today from their point-of-view at critical junctures and telling moments that show the viewer who and what they really are. It is intended to be an all-access invitation into the personal and professional lives of some of the iconic people and institutions in today's sporting landscape."
