Liverpool fans have paid tribute to Colin Daulby following his death in Monday evening's A3 coach tragedy.

The 63-year-old was driving the MerseyPride Travel bus that crashed in Surrey as it returned from the Bestival music event on the Isle of Wight.

He was among three killed, with around 50 passengers thought to have been injured.

Colin was a familiar face among Reds fans having driven the Leather Bottle Ultras supporters' club to away matches across the country for six years from 2006.

Kopite John Garner said: "I'm gutted. He was a big part of our away coach trips - he was just one of the lads and part of the family. We've lost one of the lads.

"He could never do too much for you and everyone was made welcome by him. Everyone looked forward to seeing him and you knew if you had him as a driver you were going to have a good day.

"He loved Liverpool and he loved the lads and the banter. On occasions when we needed two drivers, when he wasn't driving he'd be at the back of the bus having a laugh with us.

"Before a trip, he'd always phone me up and say, 'Do us a favour and get us a programme for our kid.'

"Our coach just won't be the same without him."

Michael Molloy, 18, from Woolton and a woman who has not yet been formally identified were also killed in the crash. The thoughts of everyone at Liverpool Football Club go to their families.
