Oussama Assaidi was fouled more than any other player on the pitch - on three occasions. West Brom trio Marc-Antoine Fortune, Youssuf Mulumbu and Markus Rosenberg were each fouled twice.
Two players from either team committed the most fouls during the tie - substitute Craig Dawson and Fortune for the home side, defensive duo Sebastian Coates and Andre Wisdom for the Reds.
The Baggies edged the battle in terms of duels won, with Billy Jones, Markus Rosenberg and George Thorne all recording 100 per cent success rate in that department.
Assaidi was the only Red to match that score, also with 100 per cent, with Nuri Sahin the Moroccan's closest competitor on 50 per cent.
West Brom defender Gabriel Tamas made the most clearances of any player during the 90 minutes, with five, while teammate Jonas Olsson and Liverpool's captain for the night, Jamie Carragher, completed three apiece.
Four players struck the most shots, with three. For the Reds, Dani Pacheco, Sahin and Samed Yesil took aim at Ben Foster three times, while WBA forward Rosenberg tried his luck on the same number of occasions.
Rosenberg hit the target with two of his attempts, although neither beat Brad Jones - a feat matched by Sahin, although both of the Turk's efforts hit the back of the net.
Both goalkeepers made the same number of saves - four - but Jones had a higher save success rate with 80 per cent compared to his opposite number, Foster, with 66.7 per cent.
