Suso on life in the first team
Spanish starlet Suso has given an insight into his current mood having made an impressive breakthrough into Brendan Rodgers' senior side in recent weeks.
Liverpool's No.30 has been given his chance in the first team this season under the manager, notching up five appearances so far.
And the diminutive forward, who secured glory with Spain U19s in the Euros, is enjoying life in front of the Kop.
Suso told Liverpoolfc.com: "When I played in pre-season I wasn't ready at that moment for the first team but I have worked hard in training and with the U21s and got my chance.
"Brendan has given me the chance and I am really grateful for that as I am really happy here and want to stay for a long time.
"Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world and the supporters are fantastic. We haven't won too many games so far this season but they still give us their full support at all times and sooner or later the wins will come for us."
Suso was handed his top-flight debut during the recent Anfield clash with Manchester United - an experience that will live long in the memory for him.
He added: "The game against United was one of the best things that ever happened to me and it was beautiful to play in front of our crowd.
"The manager has given me the chance and I just want to do my best for him and the team and work hard in every game.
"We are playing well, playing good football and creating a lot of chances. I know we are not scoring a lot at the moment but we are confident the goals will come, and hopefully we will start to win some games soon.
"It is great for us young players to play in this team. We know the manager trusts us, so it's up to us to take that chance."
