Daniel Pacheco hasn't been surprised in the slightest by Suso's first-team impact so far this season and believes his compatriot has the talent to achieve whatever he wants in football.

The 18-year-old has impressed in senior appearances since making his debut in the Europa League clash against Young Boys in September.

"He hasn't surprised me," Pacheco told Liverpoolfc.com of his close friend. "I know how well he can play, how he can change games and how confident he is on the ball.

"He can play against Manchester United or any team in the league and there won't be any nerves. He'll get on the ball and play football. He got a chance and he's taken it.

"He can be as good as he wants to be. We don't have to put any pressure on him - we have to let him enjoy his football and keep doing what he's doing. He is still very young, every player needs to improve and every player will get better and better if he keeps playing."

Suso is one of a number of youngsters to have been given a chance to shine by Brendan Rodgers this season, joining the likes of Raheem Sterling, Andre Wisdom, Jack Robinson and Adam Morgan as well as Pacheco himself.

"I think they have been great - Suso, Raheem, Andre and everyone are taking their chances," said Pacheco. "Brendan is giving them the chance some other managers never gave them.

"They are taking their chance, working very hard in training and they're not relaxing. They want to be in the team every week and they're showing that in the games."
