The fourth episode of Being:Liverpool, the behind-the-scenes documentary at Liverpool Football Club, will be shown on Friday night at 10pm BST on Channel 5.

Fans in the UK had the chance to watch the series premiere three weeks ago and the story continues with a fourth instalment, of six in total, this evening.

In partnership with FOX Sports Media Group, the Reds are the first major football club in the world to allow exclusive access to the training ground, dressing room and manager's office.

Filming for the series began in May 2012 and continued throughout the summer as new manager Brendan Rodgers was appointed and took his squad to North America.

The six-part show also follows the start of the Reds' 2012-13 Barclays Premier League campaign, right up until the end of the summer transfer window.

Golden Globe-winning actor and Liverpool fan Clive Owen narrates the show, which was produced by Emmy Award-winning Scott Boggins.

Michael Bloom, senior VP of FOX original production, said: "Our goal was, and is, to go deep inside the lives of today's greatest sports superstars and at their most critical and intimate moments.

"Other people and other shows have taken us 'behind the curtain' but Being: Liverpool is about the people.

"We aim to show that these stars are human, electric and interesting - but they also have to deal with being on a worldwide stage. This is a celebration of them.

"We pride ourselves on the brilliant visual style and the presentation but most important is how we are taken along for the ride.

"This is a series that looks forward and there are a lot of heart-warming moments in this show that the normal sports fan has never been able to see before."
