Liverpool FC continued their ongoing support for the Anthony Walker Foundation by hosting their annual gala dinner at Anfield last weekend.

The event was attended by Reds midfielder Conor Coady, who presented four awards alongside Gee Walker, mother of Anthony.

LFC social inclusion officer, Rishi Jain, said: "On the night, the gala dinner went really well for everyone involved.

"It was a brilliant event, especially for the Anthony Walker Foundation who raised over £10,000 to allow them to continue to deliver anti-racism and anti-discrimination workshops around the Merseyside area.

"It's really important for us to work alongside organisations like this as they're sending the same message of inclusion that we are."

The Anthony Walker Foundation is a charity that was established following Anthony's tragic death in a racially motivated attack in July 2005.

AWF exists to challenge racism and discrimination and promote equality, diversity and social inclusion, mainly through work with young people using the medium of education, sport, music and arts.
