Suso: Wins will come
Suso believes it is only a matter of time before Liverpool start turning good performances into stylish wins.
Fresh from signing a new long-term deal with the club, the 18-year-old has stated his confidence in the direction the Reds are heading under Brendan Rodgers.
Nonetheless, Suso is well aware of the importance of picking up a first league win of the season at Anfield as soon as possible.
And as Reading prepare to arrive in L4 today, he told Liverpoolfc.com: "I know right now we are not getting a lot of points in the Premier League, but we are playing some good football. Hopefully soon we will score some goals and get the three points.
"We need to score some goals and go higher up in the table towards the Champions League places. Liverpool have always been there and hopefully we can get there.
"Every team in the Premier League is a really strong side, including Reading, but we are Liverpool and we need to win - at Anfield even more so.
"We have to show every team that when they come to Anfield, it is going to be the hardest game of their lives. Hopefully we can get that win today."
Suso has made five first-team appearances so far this season after being handed his senior debut by Rodgers in the Europa League.
The forward is one of several youngsters to have been handed a chance to shine by the boss this season - and he's enjoying every moment of working for the Northern Irishman.
"He is the best coach I have had," said Suso. "He really likes young players and if you are working hard, he will give you a chance and you can take it.
"He is honest and if he sees you are working hard in training every day, he will give you a chance.
"The manager is with us every day and we're improving every day with him. We are playing really good - we are not playing badly.
"It's just that the goals are not coming. But hopefully we can make sure they start to come sooner rather than later."
