Agger joins Reds on Twitter
Reds defender Daniel Agger has become the latest Liverpool player to join Twitter, making it 15 first-team players from Anfield on the social media site.
"Hello everyone, proud to take my first steps on Twitter," tweeted the Dane, under the username @DanielAgger, who plans to use his feed to promote his charity - The Agger Foundation.
The 27-year-old joins teammates including Glen Johnson, Lucas Leiva, Nuri Sahin, Raheem Sterling and Luis Suarez, who use Twitter to keep fans up-to-date with their daily lives.
Reds fans can also follow Sebastian Coates, Jose Enrique, Jon Flanagan, Brad Jones, Martin Kelly, Daniel Pacheco, Jonjo Shelvey and Suso.
Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has a presence on Twitter too, with the captain, like Agger, mainly using his account to document the activities of the Steven Gerrard Foundation.
Defensive colleague Johnson was quick to reveal his surprise that Agger had signed up, tweeting: "First day on Twitter for @danielagger Didnt think this day would ever come".
