Last chance to vote for Reds
Today is the final day for Liverpool fans to vote for Martin Skrtel and Martin Kelly to win honours for their performances during the 2011-12 season at the prestigious Northwest Football Awards.
The Reds' Slovakian centre-half was crowned last year's Standard Chartered LFC Player of the Season in May after tallying an incredible 44 per cent of the 66,937 votes cast.
And now the No.37 is up against the likes of Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany and Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia in a bid to scoop the northwest equivalent.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old full-back Kelly has been nominated for the Rising Star Award, where he will face competition from the likes of Everton's Apostolos Vellios and former Red Tom Ince, who is currently at Blackpool.
Established five years ago, the awards celebrate the achievements of the region's 23 professional clubs and gives supporters the opportunity to decide who will pick up various accolades.
And this year a panel of experts from across the game, including PFA chairman Gordon Taylor and former FA chief executive Mark Palios have drawn up the list of nominees.
Voting closes on Monday, October 29 at 5pm and so Reds fans have limited time to cast their vote. To give Skrtel and Kelly your vote now, click here>>
