Stevie award for 600 LFC games
Steven Gerrard was presented with a special Liverbird trophy by Gary McAllister to commemorate his 600th appearance for Liverpool.
The presentation took place on the Anfield turf prior to kick-off in the Reds' Barclays Premier League clash against Newcastle on Sunday.
Huyton-born Gerrard made his Liverpool debut in 1998 and was handed the captaincy at the age of 23.
He has won the European Cup, two FA Cups, a UEFA Cup and three League Cups and earlier this week his long-term teammate Jamie Carragher labelled him the Reds' all-time greatest player.
