Liverpool Football Club today remembers the sacrifices of members of the armed forces in times of war on Armistice Day.

The club observed a two-minute silence at 11am GMT, while both the team and Reds fans will pay their respects ahead of today's Barclays Premier League meeting with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Today marks 94 years since the end of the First World War, which officially ended on the eleventh hour of this day in 1918.
