No goals were scored at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday, but the statistics told an interesting story of the Barclays Premier League encounter between the Reds and Swansea City.

Attacking
Luis Suarez tried his luck at goal five times - the most of any player - with each of his attempts coming from inside the box and two forcing Gerhard Tremmel to save.
Pablo Hernandez and compatriot Michu struck at Pepe Reina four times, with the former's efforts all coming from outside the penalty area. Defenders Glen Johnson and Ashley Williams both recorded four shots each.
The Reds' three-man attack of Jose Enrique, Raheem Sterling and Suarez registered a combined 10 shots at Tremmel in comparison to the zero provided by Itay Shechter.
Only Stewart Downing and Martin Skrtel of the ten outfield players who began the match for Liverpool did not shoot at goal.
Distribution
A strong performer on Sunday, Chico Flores recorded the greatest passing accuracy - 95.1 per cent. Colleague Leon Britton and Liverpool defender Daniel Agger followed with 93.3 per cent, while Joe Allen was a fraction behind with 93.2 per cent.
Interestingly, the Reds had the three players with the highest percentage of long passes attempted - Agger, Steven Gerrard and Jonjo Shelvey.
Gerrard passed the ball on more occasions than anyone - 80 - ahead of midfield partner Allen, on 73, and Jonathan de Guzman for the opposition with 66.
In contrast, just 1.7 per cent of Britton's 60 passes were delivered long, with Jordan Henderson and Johnson equally short with their passing at 2.2 per cent and 2.8 per cent respectively.
Hernandez attempted more crosses than anybody else, with eight, but yielded a low 12.5 per cent success rate. Half-time substitute Ki Sung-Yueng enjoyed 100 per cent accuracy with his three deliveries.
Defensive
Swansea goalkeeper Tremmel made a total of nine saves in the match from the Reds' 21 attempts, compared to just two stops necessary for Reina.
The German edged his Spanish counterpart in the passing statistics too, with 78.9 per cent accuracy against Reina's 75 per cent. Tremmel's distribution was considerably longer, however - 68.4 per cent to 45.8 per cent.
With seven, Swans full-back Ben Davies made more tackles than any other player on Sunday, followed by teammates Chico and Hernandez, and the Reds' Enrique.
Chico was also high on the list of clearances, with a total of nine, but Skrtel topped that particular category with 10 throughout the match at the Liberty Stadium.
The Slovakian was dominant in duels too. The 27-year-old won every battle he contested, both on the ground and in the air. Hernandez proved to be his closest competitor, with 80 per cent success.
Angel Rangel was the man for interceptions on Sunday, disrupting a Liverpool attack on seven occasions, two more than defensive colleague Chico. Allen led that statistic for the Reds with four.
