'Raheem's pace can hurt us'
Saints fan Chris Ring provides the view from St Mary's ahead of Liverpool's clash against Southampton at Anfield.
How are you finding life back in the top flight?
It's brilliant being back where we belong playing the best teams week in, week out, the extra coverage from the media as a result is great as well. It's good because you're kept up to date more and you're always able to watch a match even if you can't attend yourself. We had a difficult start to the season with playing both Manchester clubs and Arsenal but we played some lovely football at times and against United and City we felt hard done by to come away with no points. So it was a frustrating start. Having said that the last three games have been very positive.
You can get a result at Anfield because...
We have fantastic attacking options. Ricky Lambert, Adam Lallana, Gaston Ramirez and Jason Puncheon are an attacking quartet to be reckoned with and have shown they can cause anyone in the division problems. We've also scored in all but two of our matches this season.
Is this one of the trips fans have been looking forward to?
It's always a sign you're back with the big boys when you get to come to places like Anfield. It's lovely to be able to come back but it's been far too long since we last played here. I'm sure everyone is looking forward to it. Especially with having Lambert and Nigel Adkins, who are local lads - I'm sure they will be looking forward to it even more so.
Who makes Southampton tick?
Since signing Ramirez, he and Lallana have formed a brilliant partnership. They just ooze quality at times and some of their passing and link-up play is an absolute joy to watch. They seem to be at the heart of a lot of the good things we are doing and it's fantastic to see such talent at Saints.

Best way to beat Southampton?
Our defence has been poor at times this season. We have attacking wing-backs and slow centre-backs, which is not a good combination, and the pace of players like Raheem Sterling will cause problems. Also in Gazzaniga we have a very young goalie, who has the potential to be brilliant but unfortunately, at this stage of his career, is prone to the odd mistake.
Who do you rate on our side?
Sterling looks a brilliant prospect and is already producing for you and obviously Stevie Gerrard is always a threat.
Best thing about being a Saints fan?
The banter between the fans for me has always been first class. I love going to away games and there's always a great effort from the fans that can lift the team that little extra bit. At the moment we are very much on the up and looking to the future. If we can keep hold of Adkins, I think it's very bright.
And the worst?
Never being sure of a result until that final whistle goes. I don't know any other team that can be 2-0 up going into injury time feeling like they could still throw it away! I remember it happened in Harry Redk*app's first game in charge of us at home to 'Boro. We were 2-0 up going into injury time and drew 2-2.
Song or chant we're likely to hear?
Oh when the Saints. We'll sing you the correct lyrics!
Prediction?
I think there will be goals for both teams. I'll go for a score draw 2-2.
