Jose Enrique is relishing the prospect of Luis Suarez lining up against Udinese tonight and the Spaniard is confident the Reds' No.7 can be the difference in the crucial Europa League tie.

The game will be Suarez's first for the club in Europe away from home since he completed his switch to England in January 2011.

The Uruguayan was a half-time substitute against the Italians at Anfield in early October and he almost salvaged a draw for the home side after arrowing a free-kick into the Kop net to pull the Reds back into contention at 3-2.

And Enrique is hopeful the Uruguayan can continue the impressive streak of form which has propelled him to joint-top in the Barclays Premier League goalscoring stakes when Liverpool walk out at the Stadio Friuli tonight.

"Everyone knows Luis," said Enrique. "He's the key player for us and the best player we have. It's important for us that he is here with the squad and already this season he has scored a lot of goals for us.

"Tonight we have to go for the win from the start, like we do in every game. It will be difficult but we came here to win and we have come here with a very strong squad."

The Reds took the lead through Jonjo Shelvey at Anfield in the first encounter between the sides.

They were the dominant force in the first half of that game but allowed Udinese back into the match after the interval and Brendan Rodgers' men went on to fall 3-2 to the Serie A outfit.

"We have learnt from that night," said Enrique. "I think we are playing really well at the moment. But we are still learning how to play with the new manager.

"He has a new style of play and this will take time for us to adapt to but I think we are doing well.

"At the moment, the results are not coming as often as they should but I think we have played very well this season and if we continue to play like this and play like this tonight then I think the result will come."
