Young Reds head to Singapore
Reds fans in Singapore will have an exclusive opportunity to watch a selection of Liverpool’s young talents this week when the first-ever NexLions Cup kicks off.
The tournament, which will also feature youth squads representing Manchester United and Sporting CP as well as a Singapore selection, begins on Friday when the Reds take on the hosts.
A third-place play-off and final will then be held on Sunday, with the winners set to be crowned the maiden champions of the event.
All fixtures will take place at the Jalan Besar Stadium and with the other semi-final pitting United against Sporting, a mouth-watering derby against the Red Devils is a distinct possibility for the travelling Reds party.
The Liverpool squad features several players with experience of the first team - including Adam Morgan, the club's youngest ever player Jerome Sinclair and Samed Yesil.
Tickets are still available from as little as $5 for students and senior citizens, and a selection of packages are on offer - the perfect opportunity to witness the stars of tomorrow in action at close hand.
