My wish: FA Cup run and justice
As always, we like to hear the view from our opposition on Liverpoolfc.com – and this week Fulham fan Matt Doherty gives us the lowdown on the Cottagers and their curse away from home.
How is life under Martin Jol?
It's okay - results haven't been great lately, but he enjoys huge goodwill among fans. Any more performances like the debacle at QPR, though, and that will be gone.
Why is your away form so bad?
It's been that way for a decade. We keep the ball better than most teams, but lack ambition in away games. It's hugely frustrating. Snatching draws from the jaws of deserved victories at Reading and Southampton were particularly disappointing.
You can get a result at Anfield because...?
We are well organised at the back, keep the ball really well (except at QPR), and we finally got that 'never won there' monkey off our backs last season.
Who makes Fulham tick?
For years that was Danny Murphy. These days, we rely on Dimitar Berbatov to make things happen. On his day he looks world-class - or completely uninterested.
Players on our side you'll be worried about?
Just Suarez. By the way, we fully expect Luis Suarez to win a penalty against us. Every other club's winless runs, dry spells, goal-droughts etc. always come to an end against Fulham. It's traditional.
Best way to beat Fulham?
Put pressure on our back four and 'keeper as they knock the ball around between themselves. QPR did that, and completely knocked us out of our stride.
Song/chant we're likely to hear?
The lyrical genius that is "Come on, Fulham!"
Prediction?
The game is on live tv. All Fulham fans know what this means. We will play really poorly and lose. I'll say 3-0 to the Reds.
Your wish for 2013?
Fulham to enjoy a decent FA Cup run and maybe two or three away wins. Justice for the 96 #JFT96
