Suarez fit for QPR clash
Luis Suarez is fit to face Queens Park Rangers on Sunday, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.
The Uruguay striker picked up an ankle knock during the Boxing Day defeat at Stoke City, but will take his place in the squad for the trip to Loftus Road.
Rodgers told reporters at Melwood: "Luis will be fine.
"He's a real robust player and is very rarely in the treatment room.
"He's been playing with a bad ankle for a couple of weeks and took a heavy knock the other night, but he's fine."
Rodgers also confirmed Liverpool have no other fresh injury concerns following Wednesday's clash with Stoke, though admitted the Reds will continue to err on the side of caution with Lucas Leiva following his injury lay off earlier this season as the team continue the hectic Festive period.
The boss added: "With Lucas Leiva, we're just trying to guide him through this period. He'd obviously been out for a long time and he's getting an hour, 75 and 80 minutes, so we're just trying to get him up to speed.
"That's going to take Lucas a wee bit of time, but he's coming along very, very well.
"Apart from that, we're fine. Everyone is in good condition."
