Daniel Sturridge could make his Liverpool debut in the FA Cup third-round tie at Mansfield Town on Sunday. Here are the rest of the facts and figures from club statto Ged Rea.

Besides Liverpool's No.15, other possible FA Cup debutants for the Reds include Nuri Sahin, Oussama Assaidi, Joe Allen, Suso, Raheem Sterling, Andre Wisdom and Jack Robinson. Sturridge was an unused substitute for Chelsea in last season's FA Cup final.

The teams have never met in league football with their only clash coming in the League Cup in September 1970.

The Reds went to Field Mill to face the Third Division outfit with Jack Whitham making his debut in a goalless draw.

In the Anfield replay Liverpool were taken to extra-time. It finished 2-2 after 90 minutes with Emlyn Hughes and Tommy Smith (pen) scoring. Alun Evans netted the winner on 102 minutes. Joe Fagan's son Chris made the first of his two Liverpool appearances.

Last season at this stage, Liverpool beat Oldham 5-1 at Anfield with Stewart Downing and Jonjo Shelvey scoring their first Liverpool goals.

The Reds have been knocked out of the FA Cup at this stage three times in the last six seasons - the last team from outside of the top-flight to beat Liverpool in the competition was Reading, after a replay in 2010.

Reading are one of five lower-division teams to beat the Reds in the FA Cup in the last 12 seasons - Blackburn (2000), Crystal Palace (2003), Burnley (2005) and Barnsley (2008) being the others.

This will be the 21st time Liverpool have met non-league opposition in the FA Cup as a league club. The last meeting was with Havant & Waterlooville in 2008 with the Reds twice coming from behind to win 5-2 at Anfield.

Their last away fixture at a non-league ground in the Cup saw them lose 2-1 at Worcester City in 1959. It is one of only three occasions they have been eliminated by a team outside of the Football League - Southampton (1902) and Norwich City (1909) being the others.

The Reds have progressed beyond this stage once in the last three seasons.

Liverpool will attempt to appear in FA Cup finals in successive seasons for the second time, having played in 1988 and 1989.

The last Liverpool hat-trick in the FA Cup was scored by Yossi Benayoun against non-league Havant & Waterlooville in 2008.

Liverpool could become the first club ever to win the FA Cup in six successive decades. Manchester United have done it in the last five but not the current one. Aston Villa also won five (1880s - 1920s).

If selected, Martin Skrtel could make his 200th appearance in a red shirt on Sunday.

Luis Suarez has scored four goals in his last two games. The last Liverpool player to score at least twice in three successive Liverpool games was Michael Owen in May 2001.

Brendan Rodgers has won four of his seven games as a manager in this competition. He reached the fifth round with Watford in 2008-09 but never progressed beyond round four in two seasons with Swansea.

Raheem Sterling will become the youngest ever known Liverpool player in FA Cup history if he plays. He will be 18 years and 29 days old on the day of the game. The youngest is currently Barry Wilkinson who appeared against Bolton in 1954 aged 18 years 207 days.

Mansfield were elected to the Football League in 1931 and remained until their relegation at the end of 2007-08, along with Wrexham.

The Stags won the fourth division title in 1974-75 and lifted the third division championship two seasons later. Their last trophy success saw them lift the Freight Rover Trophy in 1986-87 while two seasons ago they were beaten by Darlington (1-0) in the FA Trophy final at Wembley.

Last season they finished third in the Blue Square Bet Premier League but were beaten by York City in the play-offs.

They were knocked out of the cup last season by Fleetwood (5-0 in a replay) at the fourth qualifying round stage.

They are one of 14 teams currently in the Blue Square who have played in the Football League.

They have reached this stage by winning 2-1 at Workington in the final qualifying round with Jake Speight scoring both.

In the first round they drew at home to Slough (0-0) before winning replay 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw (own goal).

The second round saw them require another replay. They drew 3-3 at Lincoln (Matt Green, Louis Briscoe and substitute Matt Rhead with a 90th minute equaliser) before winning replay 2-1 (own goal and Briscoe).

They have met 18 top-flight teams in their FA Cup history - winning once.

Their best run in the Cup saw them reach the sixth round in 1969 where they were beaten by Leicester who had beaten Liverpool in the previous round. In the fifth round Mansfield beat First Division West Ham 3-0 at Field Mill - a team that contained Martin Peters, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Harry Redknapp.

They last met a top-flight team in the FA Cup in 2008 when they lost 2-0 at home to Middlesbrough in the fouth round. Stewart Downing appeared as a substitute that day.

So far this season they have lost at home only twice. They were beaten 4-3 by Newport on the opening day of the league campaign and lost a local derby to Alfreton (2-1) on Boxing Day.

They made up for that defeat by winning at Alfreton 3-0 in the return on New Year's Day with goals from Exodus Geohaghan, Colin Daniel and John Dempster.

The Stags have suffered just two defeats in last 13 games in league and cup, while they have scored at least once in each of the last 12.

Defender John Dempster has scored in each of the last two games (in games against Alfreton Town). They have been Mansfield's only games in the last 25 days since winning the replay with Lincoln.

Ben Hutchinson has appeared for Middlesbrough in the Premier League, appearing against Liverpool as a substitute at the Riverside in January 2008.

Louis Briscoe scored in both games against Lincoln in the previous round.

Manager Paul Cox led Eastwood Town to the third round four years ago.

Amongst their previous managers have been Raich Carter, Billy Bingham (ex-Everton player and manager), Andy King (ex-Everton), as well as 1990s England internationals Carlton Palmer and Keith Curle.
