Lionel Messi was awarded a fourth consecutive Ballon d'Or on Monday evening, prompting Suso to post: "11 players in the dream team and all are playing in the Spanish league. Amazing. Congratulations to the best player in history - Messi."

On Tuesday night, attention turned to the Reds' U19s - who thrashed Inter Milan 4-1 to reach the knockout stages of the NextGen Series.

One late introduction in particular impressed Robbie Fowler...
