Manchester United fan Dan Sprague gets the banter going ahead of Liverpool's trip to Old Trafford, and reveals why this fixture means more to him than clashes with Man City.

How's your form going into this one?

No complaints. Sir Alex is working his magic again. We've had a lot of injuries, but somehow managed to be seven points clear in the league and safely through in Europe.

Best and worst thing about a visit to Old Trafford?

Best - it's not far for you to come to see a great city, stadium and team!
Worst - we might lose and get out-sung.

Your dream scenario?

You dominate the game, but Chicharito scores a 97th minute winner.

And nightmare?

De Gea has a mare, you win, and the texts start flooding in.

Best way to beat Man Utd?

I'm not sure I know. And if I did, I'm not sure I'd tell you. Scoring first will obviously help.

Weak links?

Despite our postion, I'm tempted to say there are quite a few. Our midfield, and especially our defence, need improving. I think Ferdinand may see less and less action. Also, we could really do with Cleverley developing into a top-class player. Maybe he's the new Roy Keane, maybe he's the new Kleberson. Only time will tell.

Who is making you tick at the moment?

van Persie. I'm lovin' him right now. I always knew he was class, but he really has been a fantastic signing. He loves getting the ball, beating a couple of defenders, and bending it into the top corner. Want some stats? He's scored nine in the last nine games, you know.

Liverpool or City?

Liverpool. 0161 v 0151, innit. Wembley in '77, the '85 semi-final replay at Maine Road, Solskjear's last-minute winner on our way to the treble, etc etc. There's so much history to the rivalry, so it's always a good atmosphere. Plus, that extra bit of something in the air makes both sets of fans want it so much more.

How will you be feeling Sunday morning?

Nervous. If we win, I feel great, amazing. It's one of the toughest fixtures of the season ticked off. If we lose, the phone has to go off, and I won't be on Facebook for a while. I don't want to read all those gloating messages from mates who support Liverpool.

Prediction?

It's MUFC v LFC, so you're going to be up for it regardless of form or whatever. But, ultimately, football is all about confidence and form, so I think we'll edge it. United 3-1 Liverpool.
