'I'd love to score but don't expect dancing'
Suso admits scoring his first Liverpool goal is something he regularly thinks about - but the young Spaniard has not put as much thought into how he will celebrate.
The 19-year-old netted his fair share of goals at Academy level after joining the Reds from his hometown club Cadiz CF in November 2010.
Today, against Oldham at Boundary Park, the midfielder will be looking to play in his 19th game in all competitions for the Liverpool first team and he's eager to open his goalscoring account.
Whether he will recreate Daniel Sturridge's flamboyant celebratory jig if he finds the net is a different matter altogether.
"I just can't wait for the goal," he told Liverpoolfc.com. "I'm thinking all the time about when I'm going to score one.
"But I don't think it is something I really need to worry about. It's more important that I work hard and then the goal will come.
"Obviously I would want to score in every game if I could.
"I don't think I will dance but I will have a think about my celebration. At the moment I am not sure."
Suso featured against Mansfield in the last round of the FA Cup, when the non-league side halved a 2-0 deficit to put the visitors under pressure throughout the closing exchanges.
Having watched Bradford make history earlier in the week by reaching Wembley courtesy of an aggregate win over Aston Villa, the midfielder is keen to avoid any similar upsets at Boundary Park.
"It's an important game for us, we know that they will be a strong side and they have a good team," he said.
"Some of the teams in the FA Cup, like Mansfield and Oldham, can sometimes be more difficult than Premier League teams because they are so excited for the game and for the players it is perhaps the most important game of their lives.
"Also, the pitch can be uneven and I think on Sunday this will be the case because of the weather."
