Are you an experienced Indonesian website editor or football journalist with a love for Liverpool Football Club? If so, then you could be just what we're looking for as LFC expands its digital operations in Indonesia.

Following the successful recent launch of @OfficialLFC_ID, our official Indonesian-language Twitter account, the club are now looking to recruit the following Indonesian editorial staff in Jakarta to help the club better communicate with fans.

Indonesia Website Editor

About the role: The website editor will be responsible for the day to day management of the official Indonesian-language LFC website and social media channels. The purpose of the role is to provide compelling content for Indonesian fans, maintain and update club information across all online channels and support the wider club interests in terms of commercial, communication and operational requirements.

About the person: The successful candidate will be an experienced editor with excellent attention to detail already living and working in Indonesia. S/he will be fluent in both Indonesian and English and be able to expertly communicate in both languages. S/he will have flexibility to be able work long and unsociable work patterns including evenings and weekends covering all LFC matches, including away games. S/he must have experience of working with a content management system and working within the social media world. S/he will have exceptional communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects with hard deadlines. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of Liverpool Football Club.

Indonesia Website Journalist

About the role: The website journalist will produce news, features, community and picture stories in a fast-paced environment; work alongside the editorial team to generate interesting and innovative content; come up with fresh new feature and project ideas that will drive new users towards the site and retain existing visitors on the website. The journalist will ensure content in key site areas is relevant, current and accurate; research and maintain statistical information; provide project assistance to members of the editorial team as required and liaise with club partners and other departments. The role will also involve assisting with matchday coverage. This will involve working outside of normal business hours.

About the person: The successful candidate must have undertaken formal journalism training or have at least two years of demonstrable experience within a journalism role. A detailed knowledge of LFC (both historical and current) along with a good understanding of social media are also essential. S/he will have a flexible approach to working and will be available to work some out of hours work, including evening and weekend working. The successful candidate will have excellent Indonesian and English written and verbal communication skills.
