'You can get at our soft defence'
Ahead of our trip to Wigan in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday, we get the lowdown on our opponents from Latics supporter Paul Farrington.
How's your season going?
Not at all according to plan. Following our good finish to last season (including the win over Liverpool at Anfield) we were hoping to push on and earn a mid-table place away from the usual relegation scrap.
However, injuries and suspensions took hold early on in the season and they are only recently starting to loosen their grip. With such a small squad and an even smaller budget a couple of big injuries can play a big part in our season.
We've not been up to scratch, particularly over the festive season and prior to our win at Reading last week found ourselves in the familiar position of the bottom three.
The recent team break to Tenerife appears to have worked wonders to refresh the players both mentally and physically as we've swept aside both Huddersfield (in the FA Cup) and Reading since our return.
Wigan is just a rugby town - discuss...

One tip for the visiting fans?
The Red Robin opposite the cinema is the best pub that allows both home and away fans in, always good for a drink before the game.
A trip to the DW is great because...
The ticket prices are not the astronomical, laughable prices of some of the larger clubs, particularly those in the big smoke. The football isn't half bad either and if you're an away fan there is a fair chance your team will leave with three points.
It's not so good because...
It lacks the character of traditional football stadiums and whilst having everything you could need, it lacks the history of a place like Anfield.
Who makes you tick?
Arouna Kone's goals have been the most important part of our team this season. We're a good passing outfit all over the field with no-one in particular pulling the strings. But up front we've always struggled for goals so it is good to see Kone hit double figures, despite spending the last six weeks at the African Cup of Nations.
What have you made of Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers?
He seems to be working in a way very similar to our own manager, Roberto Martinez. It takes time to embed an ethic throughout a football club and Rodgers has the tough task of embedding the footballing ethic whilst still trying to earn the right results on the football pitch.
I think if he is given time he can do a very good job for the club. After the upheaval at the club in recent years I think it is wise for Liverpool to remain with the same manager and stability for some time. Look at Chelsea, constant change doesn't help.
Best way to beat Wigan?
We have a soft defence that is prone to errors, particularly when away teams attack us on the break. We commit too many men forward and then the quickest counter-attacking teams just rip us to shreds on the break.
Bale, Suarez or Van Persie for Player of the Year?
There is a strong argument for all three and all three would be very welcome in our Wigan team. Personally I like Gareth Bale, for a top level player to power past international quality full-backs the way he does is something to behold.
Prediction?
I think it will be a low scoring game with either side nicking it by a goal. Saying that I think it will be a very exciting encounter as both teams will want all three points. 1-1 draw.
