The miracle of Istanbul has been relived and re-enacted through so many different mediums since 2005 - but we bet you've never seen our famous fifth European Cup win told through the eyes of miniature football figurines.

At the end of 2012, Standard Chartered set Liverpool fans in Malaysia a challenge - to encapsulate their love for the club and demonstrate their passion for football in a 90-second clip.

The best video, chosen by club captain Steven Gerrard, would win a trip to Anfield to watch the Reds in action against Tottenham on Sunday, March 10.

As the submissions poured in, one Kopite, Cheah Yew Hoong, devised a novel way of reliving arguably the greatest night in Liverpool's history - and his clip was selected by Gerrard as the best of the bunch.

"The winner for me has to be the tribute to the Istanbul final in 2005," said Gerrard. "It is very creative and will bring back a lot of happy memories for everybody associated with Liverpool.

"Well done to everybody who took part in the competition."

Cheah, from Selangor, will now be present on Sunday when the likes of Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale lock horns in a crunch clash for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Wan Affendy, from Putrajaya, won a framed Gerrard shirt for his video entitled 'Everything is Practice', which finished runner-up to the Istanbul clip.

Meanwhile, third-placed Alvin Lim, from Selangor, also scooped a similar prize for his entry 'Passion is Skin Deep'.
