Jamie Carragher is set to make his 500th appearance in the Barclays Premier League for Liverpool against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Here are all the facts and figures from club statto Ged Rea.

If selected, Carra will become only the second man to achieve the milestone after Ian Callaghan (640).

Earlier this season Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1 at White Hart Lane. Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale scored in the opening 16 minutes, with Bale putting into his own net with 18 minutes remaining.

It was the first time in the Reds' history they had lost at Tottenham in five successive league visits.

Liverpool's last victory over Tottenham came in January 2010 when Dirk Kuyt scored twice in a 2-0 win at Anfield. Only four of the 18 players on duty that night are currently at the club - Pepe Reina, Jamie Carragher, Martin Skrtel and Lucas. 12 players have left Anfield permanently while Jay Spearing and Dani Pacheco are out on loan.


Liverpool have lost one of their last 18 league games at home to Spurs - winning 11 and drawing six.

No Liverpool player has scored against Spurs in the last four meetings. The last was Martin Skrtel in November 2010 in a 2-1 away defeat. (Since then the only goal was a Bale own goal).


Liverpool have had 14 different players score in the league this season. The club record is 17, set in 1911-12.

This is the first league season in which Liverpool have scored five goals on three separate occasions since 1995-96, under Roy Evans.

Luis Suarez is one goal away from becoming the 51st player in the club's history to reach 50 goals in all competitions.

He has scored 28 goals in all competitions this campaign. Only Fernando Torres (with 33 in 2007-08) has reached 30 for the club in the last 16 seasons.


Suarez has scored six goals in his last three appearances.

If Liverpool win on Sunday they will record three league victories in a row - and four in succession in all competitions - under Brendan Rodgers for the first time since he took charge.

Liverpool last won three league games in a row in May 2011.

Liverpool's last six league wins have seen them score 24 goals without conceding.

If Daniel Sturridge scores he will reach five Premier League goals for the club in fewer games than any other Reds player. He has scored four goals in five appearances. Robbie Fowler scored his first five in eight games.

Spurs have lost only one of the last seven meetings - the 2-0 loss here three years ago.

They are looking to record a second Premier League double over Liverpool - the other occasion being in 2010-11 - and their sixth in all league football.

Tottenham are aiming to finish third in the top flight for the first time since 1989-90 when they finished behind Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Spurs have kept a clean sheet in their last two visits to Anfield. The last time they achieved three in a row was with the legendary Pat Jennings in goal in December 1971.

Tottenham have picked up nine points from the last possible 54 in visits to Anfield.

Tottenham's heaviest defeat at Anfield came in September 1978 when they lost 7-0. It is still the club's biggest ever league defeat.

Spurs have won four times in 66 league meetings at Anfield. They came in 1985, 1986, 1993 and 2011.

Bale has netted four of the five away league goals scored by Tottenham in 2013.

The Wales international has netted 16 goals in the Premier League this season - 11 of them have been scored away from home. He has found the net seven times in his last five league games.

His goal against Arsenal last Sunday saw him become the highest scoring Welshman in a Premier League season.

Spurs have failed to score only once away from home in the league this season - at QPR in a goalless draw back in January.

Spurs are unbeaten in 12 Premier League fixtures since their last visit to Merseyside, when they lost 2-1 at Everton on December 10 despite being in front until the 90th minute. It is their longest unbeaten league run since 1984-85 when they went 14 games without losing.
