Carra set for special milestone
Jamie Carragher is set to make his 500th appearance in the Barclays Premier League for Liverpool against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Here are all the facts and figures from club statto Ged Rea.
If selected, Carra will become only the second man to achieve the milestone after Ian Callaghan (640).
Earlier this season Tottenham beat Liverpool 2-1 at White Hart Lane. Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale scored in the opening 16 minutes, with Bale putting into his own net with 18 minutes remaining.
It was the first time in the Reds' history they had lost at Tottenham in five successive league visits.
Liverpool's last victory over Tottenham came in January 2010 when Dirk Kuyt scored twice in a 2-0 win at Anfield.
