'I want to be England regular'
Daniel Sturridge is determined to establish himself as an England regular and help the Three Lions end their long wait for a trophy.
The 23-year-old will hope to add to his tally of four England caps in the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers with San Marino and Montenegro.
His competition up front is Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck - but he is desperate to get the call from manager Roy Hodgson.
"It's every player's dream to establish themselves as an England regular," Sturridge told Liverpoolfc.com.
"Wherever you come from in the world you want to establish yourself in the national team. It's important for you as a player and for your family.
"To help your country be part of successes is special and hopefully I'll be a part of some sort of success with England in the future."
