Stevie: We can handle it
Steven Gerrard is relishing the white-hot atmosphere that will await England in Montenegro tonight as they look to bolster their prospects of World Cup 2014 qualification.
Victory for the Three Lions will see them overhaul the Group H leaders, though defeat would leave them five points off first place with four games remaining.
Gerrard said: "These are the big games you look forward to as a player and we know it's going to be a tough and decisive game. So we're looking forward to it.
"I watched the [Moldova] game on the TV and I'm well aware of what's in store.
"It's a hostile atmosphere and I know Montenegro are littered with good players, so I know it's going to be a tough task."
England head into the contest high on confidence having followed up a 2-1 friendly victory over Brazil with an emphatic 8-0 success in San Marino on Friday night.
"I believe if we can play to our level we're more than capable of getting three points and that's what we've come here for," added Gerrard.
"We know that we've got to play close to our maximum if we're to beat this good Montenegro side.
"[There is confidence] not just from Friday but from the win against Brazil as well. The team are playing well and with confidence.
"The manager did a great thing the other night in using the squad to give everyone a game and everyone's in good spirits so we're looking forward to the game."

Meanwhile, Gerrard insists he's paying no interest to the pre-match headlines that have surrounded the game.
"Talking doesn't win you football matches," he said. "I'm not really too interested in what they've got to say in their press conference. Or in ours, to be honest.
"I'm more interested in how the lads play in training and tomorrow when the first whistle goes.
"It just shows we've got them exactly where we want them."
