Reds to assess Sterling injury
Brendan Rodgers has revealed Raheem Sterling could be facing a spell on the sidelines due to a thigh complaint.
The boss confirmed at his pre-West Ham press conference the winger had been suffering with a niggle and will undergo further assessment to determine whether he requires a stint on the treatment table at Melwood.
Sterling is Liverpool's only injury concern - apart from long-term absentees Joe Allen, Martin Kelly and Fabio Borini - ahead of the Hammers' visit to Anfield this summer.
Rodgers told reporters: "Young Raheem Sterling is probably our only question mark.
"He's had an ongoing issue with his thigh, so we're just assessing that and whether he needs to come out for a few weeks to protect that.
"Apart from that, everyone is fine."
