Reading fan Andrew Wearing provides the view from the Madejski ahead of Saturday's game.

Where has it gone wrong for Reading this season?

The most prominent reason is regarding the lack of investment during the summer and January transfer window. During the summer we signed six free agents, whereas West Ham and Southampton signed players for £10million and £12million. We did two bits of business involving money - Chris Gunter and Adrian Mariappa. They are only Championship players. Brian McDermott's long ball style of play also cost Reading this season. Under Adkins the players have been attempting to pass the ball but the players don't seem to the capable.

Any chance of staying up?

I wish! We have no chance. It is all about rebuilding for a hopefully successful campaign next season in the Championship.

If you were manager for the day, you would...

Find Daniel Carrico. Since we brought him in, he has played 45 minutes of football in three months; I'd also get rid of Jobi McAnuff and Mikele Leigertwood.

What can we expect from the atmosphere?

Atmosphere at the Madejski Stadium is generally very poor, it's Y26 where all the noise comes from, the West Stand is like being in a library. But the best chant is 'Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, rub your beard all over my body'.

Where can away fans get some food and a drink before the game?

There are plenty of food outlets in and around the stadium and there is a McDonald's and a Pizza Hut just a few minutes' walk outside of the stadium in a retail park. If you are taking the train to Reading, it is best to grab a few beers from Reading town centre or the station because there are no pubs near the Madejski.

Best and worst thing about a trip to the Madejski?

The best thing is the catering staff, who wear the away fans' emblem. Reading also play a video relating to Liverpool pre-match in the concourse for you to enjoy.

If you could sign three LFC players?

We would happily take Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard and Jose Enrique off you. I'll happily drive them from Anfield to Reading.

Best way to beat Reading?

Pace. We struggle to deal with pace and it's a problem that has never been resolved at Reading. The thought of Stewart Downing running at Nicky Shorey and Ian Harte is horrible...

Prediction?

3-1 to Liverpool, Suarez, Henderson and Sturridge. Reading will score in the last 10 minutes; we have a habit of scoring late goals.
