Liverpool's Academy is more accustomed to seeing starlets rather than veterans – but pop down to the Kirkby complex on Sunday afternoons and that's exactly what you're likely to see.
The Liverpool FC Foundation launched the military veterans' programme in November of last year.
The scheme aims to re-engage ex-service personnel with physical activity and recapture their spirit of service and comradeship. The project also promotes health, education and employment.
Our cameras were at the Academy on Sunday afternoon to capture the latest weekly training session - and you can see the fine work the programme does for yourself in our free clip below.
