Lucas Leiva and the Liverpool FC Foundation's award-winning Men's Health initiative will star on Match of the Day 2 on Sunday night.

The BBC programme will air a short clip of the Brazilian as he joins representatives of our Men's Health scheme to promote the fine work being carried out in local communities.

The Reds' most successful player of all-time, Phil Neal, who is a keen supporter of the scheme, will also feature.

The Foundation operates a number of programmes across the city to help local men of all ages.

Men's health is an issue across Merseyside, and the club's initiative aims to improve physical activity levels, poor self-esteem as well as mental health and wellbeing.

It uses a number of themes, like its military veterans programme, cycling clubs and Drop a Shirt Size initiative to help convey key ideas and messages.

Match of the Day 2 will air at 10.25pm BST on BBC One and the show will also feature highlights of the day's Merseyside derby at Anfield.
