LFC Facebook hits 12 million mark
Liverpool Football Club's official Facebook account has smashed the 12-million followers barrier.
Since launching in 2009, our official Facebook page has proved a hit with supporters from all over the world - with someone from virtually every country on the planet a 'fan' of the page.
It's allowed Kopites to communicate not only with each other Reds, but also the club itself.
Each day, LFC Facebook posts an exclusive feature for fans to enjoy, such as the 'This Week in LFC History' photo albums and our 'Guess the Games' quiz.
We also post all the latest breaking news from Anfield, iconic images and quotes from the past, and comprehensive training and match photo galleries for fans to enjoy.
Just by clicking 'Like' on this page you'll get all this and more direct from the club.
In addition to this, Liverpool FC has launched four 'global' Facebook pages this year to increase engagement with supporters overseas.
A new official Facebook page for Indonesia launched today and joins official LFC pages for India, Australia and a Portuguese-language page for Brazilian fans.
The initiative is the latest development in a programme of digital activity aimed at increasing engagement with supporters around the world and follows the unveiling of 13 new international Twitter accounts since November 2012.
