There was disappointment for Liverpool Ladies after they lost 2-1 away at Chelsea on Sunday.

After a brilliant midweek 4-0 win at Arsenal, hopes were high that the Reds could continue their impressive form, and they made the best possible start when Whitney Engen fired Matt Beard's side in front.

However, the Londoners stormed back in the second half to win it 2-1.

Amanda Da Costa went close near the end to snatching what would have been a deserved draw, but Chelsea held on to take the three points.
